The word sustain means to uphold, to nourish, to keep alive—and that beautifully captures the spirit of our JLGP Sustainers. These remarkable women continue to support our League with grace, experience, and generosity of heart. For many, moving from Active to Sustainer status is not an ending, but rather a meaningful new chapter of service, connection, and impact.

We deeply value the women who came before us—those who laid the foundation and set things in motion so we could build upon their legacy. When we seek guidance on past projects, best practices, or the evolution of a fundraiser or initiative, we turn to our Sustainers. Their insight grounds us, and their continued involvement helps keep the mission of JLGP alive and thriving.

Today, the Junior League of Greater Princeton is proud to have over 150 Sustaining Members. Many remain actively involved, serving as mentors, advisors, committee members, and participants in our community outreach and fundraising efforts.

Sustainers are asked to pay annual dues of $105 each League Year, with the exception of those who have achieved Emeritus status or reached the age of 80. We warmly encourage all Sustainers to attend General Membership Meetings and participate in JLGP events and activities throughout the year.

Sustainer Activities:

• Sustainers gather on a monthly basis at the home of a Sustainer where we share ideas, collaborate, and enjoy each others company.
• The Sustainer Book Group meets on a monthly basis.
• The Sustainer Cocktail Party, held and hosted by the Sustainers in the Fall each year, is a fun way for our Members to enjoy an evening with their significant others. Active Members are welcome to attend.
• The Holiday Luncheon, hosted by the Sustainers, is open to all League members. We collect donations at this event for a specific need in the community.
• Other Sustainer activities may be added throughout the year. New ideas are always welcome!
